Policy Interview Analysis Essay There are many sides to how one may view the current health care system. Patients, Providers, and Government all have their idea as to how things should be taken care of when it comes to the policies and the finances involved. Unfortunately these groups don’t always see eye to eye in the methodology. This essay is about one Chiropractors opinions in regards to Government and health care system, the ACA involvement and Obamacare, and the providers’ role in health care and with the vulnerable population. For the sake of anonymity the practitioner interviewed for this project will be referred to as Mr. C, (C for Chiropractor). Mr. C was asked 10 questions in regards to the provider role and the government’s role in health care. The most common theme according to Mr. C in regards to the answers is that â€Å"the government should have a minimal role in US Health Care as the market should be consumer driven utilizing a Free Market†. Mr. C further implied that the government adheres to a more socialistic role in regards to health care and by forcing this type of socialism the government has caused the Health Care Industry to fail. This idealism seems to coincide with Grogan (2012) when he stated, â€Å"Conservatives believe in classis liberalism, which favors individualism and the market mechanism to promote competition, and therefore prefer a minimal role for the state†.
